What Does It Mean to Calm the Mind?

When you sit down and look inward, if you manage to enter this silence and feel a sense of calm, you've achieved a calm mind.

However, if you've already managed to sit quietly, don’t expect that your mind needs to be completely void of thoughts. It's normal for thoughts to come and go. The key is to simply observe them without becoming emotionally involved or reacting to them. They arise, pass, and leave—while you remain seated, calm, and present.

If you find that you can’t sit still and your mind is constantly restless, that indicates an unsettled mind.

What does this mean?

It suggests that there is an imbalance or a breach in your energy field—a break or blockage that prevents the natural flow of your thought cycles. When there’s a disruption in your energy, you'll likely experience a strong urge to get up, feel restless, and come up with endless excuses for why meditation or sitting still is "stupid" or unnecessary.

So, what does it mean to calm the mind and ignore thoughts?

It’s simply a practice that requires effort. You meditate, focus inward, and over time, through experience, this process becomes more natural.

There’s nothing supernatural about it. You sit, calm your mind, observe your thoughts without attachment, and everything is fine.

If you truly have energetic disruptions, breaks, or negative influences affecting you, it’s important to address those first. If you have the tools, such as Cosmoenergy, Reiki, or similar practices, you can work on clearing these influences yourself. If not, seek help from someone who is more experienced or stronger in these areas.

Even if there’s no external negative influence, the work remains within. You need to cultivate a positive mindset. Tell yourself everything is fine and redirect your attention inward, away from troubling thoughts. When negative patterns emerge, remind yourself: "Everything is fine. I’ve got this."

With this mindset, you continue moving forward in life.
