What Should Proper Meditation Feel Like?

Friends, when you are truly meditating and observing yourself, one of the first things you'll notice is your breath. You become more aware of these internal processes.

A clear sign of proper meditation is a sensation of warmth. You may start to feel gentle waves of energy moving through you, like warm water flowing inside. The space around you may feel denser, almost as if there’s a subtle ripple in the air.

When you're in the right meditative state for a while, your eyes become clear, and your thoughts seem to organize themselves with greater clarity and wisdom. This inner clarity often arises very quickly. If you've reached this state, there's no need to question whether you're doing it right. Simply continue to observe your breath—inhale, exhale, inhale, exhale. Once you reach this level of awareness, that's when the real inner work begins.
