Is It Possible to Meditate Lying Down?

Friends, if you lie down, you’re likely to fall asleep. To enter a meditative state, both your mind and body need to be deeply relaxed. When lying down, this level of relaxation often triggers the transition into sleep.

If you find yourself unable to fall asleep, it could indicate a dysfunction in your first chakra, causing a state of arousal and hyperactivity. In such cases, meditation won't be effective.

Sleep is unconscious meditation, and meditation is a lucid dream.

So, while it's possible to meditate lying down—more specifically, to perform certain meditation techniques in this position—there's a limit to how far you can go.

To dive deeper and progress further in your practice, it's best to sit.
